Liaoning's integration of transportation and tourism has recently seen a representative pilot project: the Jingha Expressway Linghai Service Area RV Campsite has officially opened.
For a long time, the positioning of highway service areas has only been temporary stops on the way - refueling, using the restroom, and simply having a meal. Tourists stay for a short time, making it difficult to generate cultural and tourism value. But the Linghai service area project breaks this inherent understanding: high-speed service areas can also be used for immersive camping.
The campsite is located on the main road of Jingha Expressway, relying on a mature highway network to create a composite travel station, integrating functions such as RV parking, camping leisure, and supply and rest. Self driving tourists can experience camping for long-distance or short distance travel across provinces without getting off the highway, which is a very imaginative new direction for the integration of transportation and tourism.

Many people may ask: why did this project choose a modular modular spacecraft instead of traditional civil engineering?
The climate in Northeast China is unique, with extremely cold winters and salt spray corrosion in some areas. Traditional civil engineering has a long construction period and is greatly limited by seasons. In service areas where the site is limited and the construction window period is short, the difficulty of landing is high. Modular buildings are prefabricated in factories and assembled on-site. The spacecraft at Linghai Camp, with a total length of 14 meters, is disassembled into two standardized modules that are 4 meters wide. They are prefabricated in the factory and transported to the site for rapid assembly, greatly reducing the construction period on site.
The destination of this plan is to accommodate all rivers. The enterprise has been deeply involved in prefabricated construction in cold regions for many years, specializing in the research and development of structures and materials for the complex climate in the north. The main body of the spacecraft is designed with a steel structure, which is resistant to wind and earthquake; The exterior walls are made of specialized aluminum plates, which are corrosion-resistant, rust proof, and resistant to salt spray. They can withstand the cold winter of tens of degrees below zero in Northeast China and meet the standards of coastal projects.
Haina Baichuan is not simply selling finished cabin bodies. Provide one-stop modular space solutions from scheme design, structural verification, factory prefabrication, and on-site construction. The enterprise has a production base of 20000 square meters and possesses the ability for large-scale production; At the same time, it has multiple certifications such as high-tech enterprise, Liaoning Province Gazelle Enterprise, green factory, and prefabricated building demonstration industrial base, equipped with first and second level construction engineer teams, and multiple second level engineering qualifications.

This project is a key pilot of Liaoning Expressway and has also been recognized by Liaoning Ice and Snow Hot Spring Tourism Association and Liaoning Self driving Tourism Association. Liaoning Expressway Industrial Management Co., Ltd. has had a strategic cooperation with the Provincial Self driving Tour Association for more than ten years, exploring the transformation of road network resources into cultural and tourism resources together. According to the plan, camping pilot projects for such high-speed service areas will be gradually launched on multiple highways in Liaoning in the future.
Integration of transportation and tourism is not just about setting up tents on the roadside. The core is a low-cost, fast landing, movable, and weather resistant spatial carrier. Modular buildings in cold regions perfectly match the requirements of such projects. The highway network is a natural flow channel. Transforming traffic flow into tourism consumption scenarios, the Linghai Camp model may provide a replicable new approach for national high-speed cultural and tourism projects.
